Job description

We are seekingAndroid Developers to join our team, who'll be responsible for enhancing our application performance.

What do you have to perform?

· Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

· Work with outside data sources and APIs.

· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.

· Should be able to understand and work with mock-up and design tools to understand and implement UI/UX with element definitions defined on the tool.

· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

· Should be proficient in consuming and parsing APIs, JSON/XML, and REST technologies to provide a better UI experience.

· Involved in the development process using Android framework, handling application persistence.

· Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs, and enhancing application performance

· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design and ship new features

· Keep updated and follow emerging trends and technologies

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

· Works closely with Backend, Design, and Product Management teams to brainstorm and understand the details of features

Key Requirements:

· You have prior 6-8 years of experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK

· You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store

· Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

· Familiarity with various testing tools

· Familiarity with components like coroutines, live date, jetpack and SQLite database

· Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

· Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
