Lead - Lighting / 3D Generalist

What we want to see: Examples of 3D representations of existing real products accurately lit and inserted into existing shots (sequences are desirable but single frames are accepted). Close attention to materials, highlights, product and adjacent reflections, colour bounce and levels.

Ability to analyse a frame and extrapolate the lighting scenario from the footage quickly and effectively without any notes is essential, noting shadow direction, highlights, light strength and colour, all to physical scale (as defined in the MM task).

Ability to work in a team attended and unattended is essential along with noting continuity of lighting and shading of object(s) in the shot / scene.

Working knowledge of ACES colour science desirable.

Ability to use Fusion or any other compositing software (even Blender’s compositor) is an advantage for QC and checking outputs.

Ability to work with Deadline, OpenCue or any other render management software desirable.

Knowledge of production tracking software also desirable.
