Product Analyst


  • Synthesize data to provide actionable insights to the leadership and the product team to influence strategy and growth

  • Provide Key data inputs needed for launching the product

  • Monitor the performance of new features and recommend iterations based on your findings

  • Define metrics we need to drive, setting up targets and tracking the progress of our products.

  • Research on competition and players across the world to benchmark metrics and set goals

  • Conduct customer interviews to understand the customer journey and map it to certain patterns we notice in our data

  • Root cause analysis and debugging for metric deviations and bugs

  • Build dashboards and tools, craft analyses to make better decisions

  • Work with other teams – engineering, data analysts, content closely to set up, measure and track product metrics

  • Evaluating tools to measure product metrics and be a key member in setting up tools working with other teams

  • Be the gatekeeper for ensuring data governance around the organization

  • Other usual tasks like creating and maintenance of reports and dashboards for ongoing performance tracking

Ideal Candidate:

  • B Tech Graduate from good institutes, experience in product analytics is a plus (0-3 years) Interested in  a data analysis related profile for an e-commerce/internet company

  • Has strong analytical chops, and can use SQL or reporting tools to derive actionable insights from user behavior

  • Is detail oriented, with a strong passion for analytics and problem solving

  • Is excited to work in a fast paced environment, is comfortable with making decisions in ambiguity, and has a strong bias for action.

  • Understands the common metrics used in the internet industry along with business growth metrics such as retention, churn, CAC, CLTV, etc
